I had an amazing meal last night with a group of peers. The owner and his staff were so friendly and attentive. I highly recommend you go here the next time you are in the mood for some Mexican food. Let's be honest, who doesn't love authentic Mexican food and this is the best in Algonquin!!

Okay , this place is authentic... not your typical Taqueria, but real Mexican cuisine - fast food style with sit down restaurant quality! The owner is super personable and has a superb understanding of customer service! this will quickly become our favorite place, so much to try on the menu!

Had a late lunch at Amuzgo Mexican Cuisine and really enjoyed the food. I've passed by without knowing it was there for 5 years. Missed many a good meal by doing so. The owner Sal is polite, helpful and a wonderful cook. Prices aren't bad either. Lots of choices. I heard that the steak fajitas quesadillas are delicious. Got to try next time. And there will be a next time!

This is my favorite Mexican place in Algonquin! Excellent burritos. I love that everything is made fresh when you order- the meat isn't pre-cooked. The owner is almost alays there as well and clearly takes pride in his business- he's a gem! Looking forward to my next burrito!

I love Amuzgo! It’s one of my favorite Mexican restaurants I ever had! Sal provides great service and doesn’t just treat us like customers but family! Please go if you are ever crave good authentic Mexican! You won’t regret it! Also the Churros are SO GOOOD!

This is a cute, casual spot with excellent food & wonderful service! The prices were reasonable as well. I tried one thing completely new & loved it; it was a shrimp burrito. I also loved the sauce on the burrito suizo! I look forward to trying the Barbacoa next time! Everything was fresh & delicious! The staff was very kind. We will be beck for sure!

BEST ENCHILADAS VERDE AROUND- I am a big Mexican foodie, very picky and drive all over to find the best tacos, burritos and enchiladas. Most places are bad. That’s why I don’t leave reviews, but this place really surprised me. Didn’t expect a super favorable green salsa that is served warm from pan glazed on top of your freshly wrapped tortillas with your choice of meat. I personally love them with Barbacoa or chicken. Yummm. Def some of the best barbacoa around. Wait there’s more their mole ones are also really good too. Those were my favorite until I tried the green ones.

The Carne Asada fries are out of control delicious!! Huge serving I could not eat them all!! They have a lot of menu items - great prices I do recommend and would come back for more fries!!
